How do the Kallax inserts fit?

Peel the backing paper from the glue dots and stick the inserts to the inside walls of a Kallax cubicle. Press the overhang on the front edge of each insert against the front of the Kallax, so the inserts can't creep backwards when you slide boxes in. No tools needed.

Are the Kallax inserts freestanding?

No. They're designed for the IKEA Kallax and nothing else, and they only work when fixed inside a Kallax cubicle. They won't stand up on their own.

Which boxes do the inserts fit?

The A4 inserts are designed around the WestonBoxes A4 Storage Box (312 x 225 x 57mm externally), including our clear, coloured and TOUGH white A4 boxes. The 12x12 inserts are designed around the WestonBoxes 12x12 Storage Box (317 x 343 x 28mm externally).

How many boxes fit in one Kallax cube?

Five A4 Storage Boxes with the A4 inserts. Four 12x12 Storage Boxes with the 12x12 inserts, or eight with a second set fitted above the first. Every box slides out individually.

Are the Kallax inserts injection moulded or 3D printed?

3D printed in PETG. It's durable, holds up well to knocks, tolerates warm rooms without softening, and resists moisture, oils and household chemicals.
