Keep your heavily loaded A4 Box Stak rigid

  • What the brace does: When an A4 Box Stak is fully loaded with five A4 boxes each containing a ream of paper, the combined weight can cause the open front of the frame to bow outwards. The Stak brace clips across the front of the frame to prevent this, keeping the Stak rigid and square under heavy loads.
  • Simple clip-on fitting: The brace clips directly across the front of the A4 Stak frame without any tools or modification. One brace per Stak is sufficient.
  • Pack of 4: Each pack contains four braces — enough for four A4 Box Staks. Useful if you run multiple Staks and want to ensure they all perform properly under full load.
  • A4 Stak only: The brace is designed specifically for the A4 Box Stak. It is not required for or compatible with the A5 or Pen & Pencil Box Staks.
  • Made in Britain: Manufactured from black recyclable polypropylene at our factory in Sunbury-on-Thames.

What does the A4 Stak brace do?

The Stak brace is a clip-on polypropylene strap that fits across the open front of the A4 Box Stak frame. When a Stak is fully loaded — five A4 boxes each containing a ream of paper — the weight can cause the front of the frame to bow outwards. The brace prevents this, keeping the frame rigid and square under heavy loads.

How many braces do I need per Stak?

One brace per A4 Stak is sufficient. Each pack contains four braces — enough for four A4 Box Staks.

Is the brace compatible with the A5 or Pen & Pencil Box Staks?

No — the brace is designed specifically for the A4 Box Stak. The A5 and Pen & Pencil Box Staks are smaller and lighter and do not require bracing.

What material is the A4 Stak brace made from?

The brace is made from black polypropylene — the same durable, recyclable material used for the Stak frames themselves.

The A4 Stak brace is designed, manufactured, and quality-checked at our factory in Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey. S.B.Weston Ltd has been manufacturing precision injection moulded products in south west London since 1948 — originally from a factory in Teddington, then on Platts Eyot, a small island in the Thames, before moving to our own factory premises in Sunbury-on-Thames in 2002.
