Kallax shelf inserts for A4 Boxes enable you to store 5 A4 Paper Storage Boxes in a single IKEA Kallax storage unit cubicle, each on its own individual shelf. Simply peel the backing paper from the glue dots, line the front lip of the insert up with the front face of the Kallax and stick it in place inside the Kallax cubicle. Now you can load it with your A4 storage boxes each on its own individual shelf. Boxes sold separately.

Kallax shelving inserts for your A4 storage boxes

Designed to fit the IKEA Kallax: A pair of shelving inserts designed specifically for the Kallax. They turn a single Kallax cube into five individual shelves for your WestonBoxes A4 Storage Boxes. Boxes are not included.
Organise the boxes you already have: If your A4 boxes are stacked on top of each other and you have to lift four to reach the fifth, these inserts give every box its own shelf. You can slide out just the box you need.
Super easy to install: Peel the backing paper from the glue dots and stick the inserts to the inside walls of a Kallax cubicle. Make sure the overhang on the front edge of each insert is pressed against the front of the Kallax, so the insert can't creep backwards when you slide boxes in. That's all there is to it.
Box handles included: The A4 boxes sit close together on their shelves, so five black slip-on handles are included. One fits to the front of each box, making it easy to pull out smoothly.

What is included?

You get a pair of black Kallax shelving inserts and 5 black slip-on box handles. One pair of inserts fits one Kallax cube and holds 5 WestonBoxes A4 Storage Boxes. The inserts are 3D printed in PETG and the handles are injection moulded in acetal. Boxes are not included.

Which boxes do the inserts fit?

The inserts are designed around the WestonBoxes A4 Storage Box, which measures 312 x 225 x 57mm externally. That includes our clear, coloured and TOUGH white A4 boxes.

Why choose Kallax inserts rather than an A4 Box Stak?

The A4 Box Stak doesn't fit in an IKEA Kallax cubicle, so these inserts are the way to shelve A4 boxes in a Kallax. The inserts aren't freestanding: they only work when fixed inside a Kallax, where they hold each of the 5 boxes on its own shelf. If you want freestanding storage for A4 boxes, choose the A4 Box Stak instead.

Can I fill more than one Kallax cube?

Yes. Each pair of inserts fits one cube, so order one pair for every cube you want to fill. If you need more A4 boxes to go with them, they're available separately in packs, or as part of the Kallax insert pack with 5 boxes included.

Where are the Kallax inserts made?

The inserts and handles are designed, made and quality-checked at our factory in Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey. S.B.Weston Ltd has been making precision injection moulded products in south west London since 1948. We started in a factory in Teddington, moved to Platts Eyot, a small island in the Thames, and moved into our own factory premises in Sunbury-on-Thames in 2002.

Are the Kallax inserts injection moulded or 3D printed?

The Kallax inserts are 3D printed in PETG. PETG is durable and holds up well to drops and knocks. It tolerates warm rooms without softening and resists moisture, oils and household chemicals. It's a solid all-rounder material for functional, everyday items.
