A6 slim box — frequently asked questions
What are the dimensions of the WestonBoxes A6 slim box and what does it hold?
The A6 slim box measures 176 x 127 x 24mm externally and 166 x 118 x 21mm internally. The slim depth holds A6 paper (105 x 148mm), C6 envelopes, and standard 6" x 4" photographs flat and protected — ideal for postcard sets, greeting card collections, and small print presentations where a full-depth box is not needed.
What else can I store in the A6 slim box?
The slim profile makes this box popular for storing flat items that don't require the full depth of our standard A6 box. Customers use it for postcard sets, greeting card collections, small art prints, stationery kits, and photographer print presentations. If it fits within 166 x 118mm and is no taller than 21mm, it will store neatly in an A6 slim box.
Is the WestonBoxes A6 slim box acid-free?
Yes. Both the clear transparent and TOUGH white opaque versions are made from acid-free polypropylene, which means they will not react with or damage paper, photographs, or printed media stored inside. Safe for long-term archival storage of handmade work and printed media.
What material is the WestonBoxes A6 slim box made from?
The A6 slim box is available in two grades of polypropylene — standard clear transparent PP5, and TOUGH high-impact opaque white. Both are acid-free and recyclable. The TOUGH grade offers significantly improved resistance to knocks and heavy handling, while the clear grade gives instant visual content identification.
Where is the WestonBoxes A6 slim box made?
The A6 slim box is designed, manufactured, and quality-checked at our factory in Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey. S.B.Weston Ltd has been manufacturing precision injection moulded products in south west London since 1948 — originally from a factory in Teddington, then on Platts Eyot, a small island in the Thames, before moving to our own factory premises in Sunbury-on-Thames in 2002. When you buy a WestonBoxes product, it is genuinely made in Britain — not just branded here.
