35mm business card box — frequently asked questions
What are the dimensions of the WestonBoxes 35mm business card box and how many cards does it hold?
The 35mm business card box measures 100 x 65 x 37mm externally and 95 x 60 x 35mm internally. It holds approximately 125 standard business cards (85 x 55mm) flat and protected. The close internal fit keeps cards from shifting and prevents corner damage.
How does the lid work — will it fall off?
The business card box uses a full-depth interference fit lid — unlike a simple drop-on lid, it gets progressively tighter as it reaches its fully closed position, gripping the base securely. It will not fall off in normal handling. Cut-away features on either side of the lid allow you to grip it easily and lift it off cleanly when you need to open it.
What else can I store in the 35mm business card box?
The compact format makes this box a favourite with crafters and hobbyists for storing small easy-to-lose items — beads, sequins, buttons, sewing pins, seed beads, and other sewing consumables that need a secure home. The clear and transparent colour options mean you can see exactly what's inside at a glance. Also popular in the workshop for nails, screws, and small fixings. If it fits within 95 x 60mm and is no taller than 35mm it will store neatly in this box.
What material is the WestonBoxes 35mm business card box made from?
The box is made from PP5 polypropylene — a chemically inert, recyclable plastic that is acid-free, moisture-resistant, and durable. Available in clear transparent, a range of transparent colours, and a TOUGH grade translucent white — semi-transparent rather than fully opaque, through which card details are just visible when pressed against the inside of the lid.
Where is the WestonBoxes 35mm business card box made?
The 35mm business card box is designed, manufactured, and quality-checked at our factory in Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey. S.B.Weston Ltd has been manufacturing precision injection moulded products in south west London since 1948 — originally from a factory in Teddington, then on Platts Eyot, a small island in the Thames, before moving to our own factory premises in Sunbury-on-Thames in 2002. When you buy a WestonBoxes product, it is genuinely made in Britain — not just branded here.
