The A4 clip lid box measures 340 x 245 x 70mm externally and 310 x 218 x 65mm internally. It holds A4 paper and documents comfortably, with extra depth for bulkier contents. At 65mm internal depth it is the deepest A4 box in the WestonBoxes range.
The extra depth makes this box popular for pens, pencils, and art tools, craft supplies, model making materials, stationery, and anything that needs secure, contained storage. The clip lid and locating feet make it particularly well suited to classrooms, craft classes, and any situation where boxes are carried between locations.
Yes. The A4 clip lid box is made from acid-free polypropylene, which means it will not react with or damage paper, artwork, or printed media stored inside it. It is safe for long-term storage of documents, prints, and handmade work.
The A4 clip lid box is made from clear PP5 polypropylene — the same acid-free, recyclable material used across the full WestonBoxes range. The clear construction means you can see contents at a glance without opening the box.
The A4 clip lid box is designed, manufactured, and quality-checked at our factory in Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey. S.B.Weston Ltd has been manufacturing precision injection moulded products in south west London since 1948 — originally from a factory in Teddington, then on Platts Eyot, a small island in the Thames, before moving to our own factory premises in Sunbury-on-Thames in 2002. When you buy a WestonBoxes product, it is genuinely made in Britain — not just branded here.
WestonBoxes are made by S.B.Weston Ltd — a third-generation family business founded in south west London in 1948. For over 75 years we've been precision injection moulding, supplying partners including Brompton Bikes and The Royal British Legion's Poppy Factory.
Every box you buy is designed, manufactured, and quality-checked at our factory in Sunbury-on-Thames. No outsourcing, no importing — just British-made storage that's built to last.
